Phase 2 Submission Guidelines

1. Pre-Screening Round 1 Guidelines

    a. Only registered teams will be allowed to participate in Phase 2 - Pre-Screening Round 1.
    b. The submission form for this round will be available on the portal. Registered teams must submit the required information through the portal before the specified deadline.

2. Please follow the submission guidelines carefully.

    a. Software Edition

        Teams participating in the Software Edition must demonstrate their technical and programming skills. The following submissions are mandatory:

        i. Presentation (PPT)

            ➢ Prepare the presentation strictly as per the SIH 2026 PPT format.

        ii. Project Demonstration Video

            ➢ The project demonstration video must not be AI-generated. The audio narration must also not be AI-generated and should be delivered exclusively by the team members.

            ➢ Video should contain prototype

            ➢ The explanation must be presented by the team members themselves.

       iii. GitHub Repository

            ➢ A GitHub repository link is mandatory for all participating teams.

            ➢ Provide collaborator access to the repository using the Hackathon ID: https://github.com/Hackathon-LDRP as instructed.

            ➢ The repository must be kept private and must not be made public to ensure a fair and unbiased judging process.

            ➢ The repository must contain at least a partial implementation of your proposed solution.

            ➢ Upload the source code, project documentation, and a well-structured README file explaining the project, including its objective, features, technology stack, setup instructions, and current implementation status.

            ➢ Teams are strictly advised not to share or publicly expose the repository, source code, or implementation details before the completion of the judging process.

b. Hardware Edition

Since hardware projects often require multiple domains of expertise, multi-disciplinary teams are encouraged, including students from disciplines such as:

        1. Mechanical Engineering

        2. Civil Engineering

        3. Electronics/Electrical Engineering

        4. Product Design

        5. Computer Science/Information Technology

        6. Programming and other relevant fields

The following submissions are mandatory:

        i. Presentation (PPT)

                ➢ Prepare the presentation strictly as per the SIH 2026 PPT format.

        ii. Project Demonstration Video

                ➢ The project demonstration video must not be AI-generated.The audio narration must also not be AI - generated and should be delivered exclusively by the team members

                ➢ Video should contain prototype (Preferable)                

                ➢Teams are required to upload their submission video to YouTube as an “Unlisted” video and submit the corresponding YouTube link in the provided field.

3. Guide Selection

Each team must select one mentor.

The Guide should:

        a. Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant domain.
        b. Have relevant industry and/or academic experience.
        c. The guide expertise should be aligned with the relevant Problem Statement selected by the team.

It is mandatory to follow the PPT and video demonstration guidelines to be considered for shortlisting for the physical round at LDRP-ITR.
